Becky enjoys combining her loves of Judaism, music, and performance as a Bnai Mitzvah Tutor. Since the Monday after her Bat Mitzvah (parashat Vayelekh), she has worked as a tutor with various synagogues including Congregation Habonim and Central Synagogue in Manhattan. She has worked as a Hebrew/Bnei Mitzvah, Math tutor and academic coach with Door To Door Tutoring since the summer of 2008.
Becky is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, having completed her BFA in Drama and minor in Business at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business with honors. She is also a graduate of the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Rockville, MD. As an artist, Becky has acted in several off-Broadway plays and films; most notably, Becky co-created, produced and performed in several projects helmed by five-time Tony Award nominated Elizabeth Swados (RACHEL & LEAH, FROM THE FIRE, ATONEMENT). She has performed at Lincoln Center, Town Hall, Judson Memorial Church, St. Marks Church, Baruch Performing Arts Center, The JCC in Manhattan, The Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine and The Actors' Temple. She is also a member of the National Yiddish Theatre's Folskbiene Outreach Troupe, bringing live Yiddish music to audiences around the east-coast.
Becky lives on the UWS in Manhattan and loves puppies.
